Kayila Wilson wants to be a film producer and has moved to Los Angeles, where she gets a receptionist job. Danny Prescott is a director on the rise, and also Kayila’s ex, and it didn’t end well and her only shot at starting her career working on his next picture. Working together brings back feelings for both of them and maybe a second chance. But this is Hollywood and things happen on set, there are scandals and heartbreak, and Kayila and Danny need to figure out if they can put the past behind them and work together on screen and off. This is a great rom-com, with these two well-written characters and a story you engage in and follow along. You root for these two to be together, and have that second chance at love. A great debut novel.
