Rosebank Home is a place for troubled teens, and one of its employees, Josh Woodburn, brings Vera Stanhope to investigate. A prime suspect seems to be 14-year-old resident, Chloe Spence, who had a crush on Josh, and has now vanished. Soon a second body is found, another resident at the home, who is known for selling drugs. Vera, Joe and the new member of her team, Rosie Bell, are working on this case and trying to find answers before anyone else dies. This is another strong Vera Stanhope novel, that starts off fast and never lets up. Fans of this series will enjoy this one.
