Rosie Benson is having a really tough time right now. She was fired from her job, her best friend and roommate is dating the man who fired her, she has an overbearing mother, her mother has announced she’s divorcing her father, and the only person she can count on is her Aunt Dotty. Her Aunt is a free spirit, does what she wants, says what she wants, and Rosie idolizes her, then she suddenly dies and Rosie has no one she can count on. Rosie decides she has to move on with her life, gets a new job and boyfriend, and sets out to find out about Dotty’s life, via old friends, and her parents, and soon discovers a whole new side of her Aunt, and then becuase of Aunt Dotty, finally figure out what she wants out of life. This is a well-written, character-driven novel, and you get engaged and root for Rosie, as you read along. You will not want to put this one down.
