Bellamy Price is a female contractor, in a male-dominated business, and is trying to get her name out there. She finally gets a big job offer, fixing up Killington Estate, a huge mansion, that has been neglected for years. Oliver Killington, who lost his parents in a car crash years ago, and was injured himself, is the grandson and caretaker of the house. He’s not happy when he finds Bellamy there doing the work, who is under a strict timeline to get things done, and he tries to interfere whenever he can. Oliver himself is on a deadline his Grandfather gave him, and soon the two develop an attraction to each other and have to decide if they can put down the baggage they both have and make a go of it. This is a really fun rom-com, that hits all the right notes. You follow along with these two characters and hope they will work things out. A perfect beach read.
