Nadia is an ad exec who writes TV commercials, has been having a thing with her boss and living in Philly near her family. Then she finds out she has lupus, loses her job and decides to move back to her parent’s home in Evergreen, New Jersey, to figure out her life. Her Dr. sets her up on a date with his nephew, who is coming to live in his home while they go on vacation. Marco Antoniou was a big TV star, having been on a series for seven years. He is on a reset of his life as well, having gotten into some trouble in the past few years. They hit it off and decide to date for a month and then end it when Marco leaves. As the days go on they become closer, have hot sex and end up falling for each other. Nadia hasn’t told him about her lupus, she is planning on telling him on their last day together. Nadia is afraid to fully commit because of her disease and when she tells Marco she’s surpised by his reaction and feelings. This is a well-written love story, with two people that have issues and find each other. The chemistry between Nadia and Marco is off the charts hot and the lupis disease is handled with class and a lot of information about the disease. This is a perfect summer beach read.
