Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS4, PS5)
It has been such a great thing to see so many diverse faces in entertainment this year. In fact, my kids told me the other day that Miles Morales is now their favorite Spider-Man and that they want to see more stories with him in it. Which is a hell of a thing when you consider Spider-Man has been my son’s favorite superhero growing up.
Luckily, this game has filled in the void with a wonderful story to hold them over until the next movie. Filled with much of the same gameplay mechanics that made the previous Spider-Man video game such an achievement, this entry is a blast from beginning to end. Which is something that kids of all ages need in these troubling times.
