Chris Stapleton: Starting Over (Music)
Stapleton is an artist who’s voice I’ve long admired, but never was very interested in his music. This all changed with ‘Starting Over’. This wonderfully varied album delivers genre-bending power ballads like ‘Cold’, pitch-perfect remakes like ‘Joy of My Life’, acoustic road songs like the title track, and so much more. Almost no track repeats the style of another and never is it dull. I will be tuning in for years to come.
