Melody Monroe is a widow and raising two two boys, who are ten. She also runs her own boutique, and designs most of the clothes. Jonathan Braxton is the principal at the school the boys go to, is hot, and is known to be a bit tough on the students. When Melody learns the annual Christmas cookie events will not be happening, she decides to take over and head the committee and make sure the fundraising event is a success and that means working with Jonathan. They start spending time together and fall for each other. As the events roll on, the cookies are baked, and they start secretly dating, worried about how her kids will feel. Except everyone seems to know and when the kids find out, trouble brews and Melody decides it’s not good to date the princical, but the kids have other ideas, and a Christmas miracle may just take place. This is a fun, holiday rom-com, that hits all the right notes. A perfect holiday novel, that will make you hungry for cookies.
