Annalise Harris lives in Toronto, recently lost her uncle Larry, whom she still misses, and is months away from moving to Liverpool to get her PhD. She advertises for a roommate, and Mackenzie Smith answers, and Annalise assumes she was a woman, but turns out to be a hot man, who is a musician. She agrees to let him stay, and soon they grow close. They watch movies together, eat together, and she checks out his band once and a while. When they finally give in to passion, they have hot sex and fall for each other. With Annalise moving soon, it complicates things, especially when Mackenzie gets an offer to do his own album in Nashville, and it will take six months. Annalise decides to end things and moves to Liverpool, but both are hurt and lonely, and then grand gesture is made that could reunite them. This is a charming rom-com, with a great supporting cast in Harmony and Koko. A perfect fall romance.
