John Chenneville is a union soldier who is seriously injured and wakes up in the hospital, lucky to be alive. When he’s finally ready to be released, he heads home and learns that his sister, her husband, and baby were murdered by a ruthless killer named A.J. Dodd, and John is determined to hunt this man down, and get revenge. He learns the man is in Texas and takes off for there to find him, confront him, and kill him. John will have his own troubles, as he will be accused of murder, with a man on his tail trying to capture him. It will all take them to San Antonio, and an epic showdown. This is an intense, well-written novel, that keeps you engaged throughout. You will not want to put this one down.
