A serial killer, who has been named the Confession Artist, has been posting sketches of potential victims on social media, and giving them six days to confess their sins or they will be killed. So far, a few have died, and lots of people thinking the sketch was of them have confessed a lot of things. Then a sketch is put up online of Crosbie Mitchell, a former cop and current private investigator, that looks like other people. The telling tale of the sketch is the earrings that the woman in the sketch is wearing; Crosbie owns a pair. She doesn’t think it’s her, but the cops and the FBI are soon on the case. Crosbie has a lot she can confess to, and soon worries about her life. She has to decide if she will make any confessions, and soon goes on the offensive to find this person before it’s too late. This is a unique story, and it’s an intense thriller. Watching Crosbie fight for her life is page-turning, and this novel is a winner.
