Book Review: ‘Lilith: A Novel’ By Nikki Marmery

Lilith was the first wife of Adam in the Garden of Eden. They live peacefully under the eyes of the Gods, The Almighty, Asherah, and Yahweh. When Lilith refuses to lie with Adam, he rapes her, and she runs and asks for help from Asherah, and gains her wings and leaves Eden. She soon learns a shocking secret while flying around, not everything in Eden or the world is as it seems. She soon falls in love with Samuel, the angel of death, and her eyes are more opened to the world around her, and the way people are treated, and sets about to try and fix things. This is an awesome retelling of Bible stories, historical events and a strong, feminine character in Lilith. I couldn’t stop reading this.
