Fresh off the heels of a head turning season, SISTER WIVES picks up right where the season left off when the series returns on Sunday, September 11 at 10PM ET/PT. For twelve years, dedicated fans have followed the highs and lows between Kody Brown and his four wives —Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn—as they’ve expanded their family and celebrated life’s big moments from birthdays to weddings and babies. This season, Sister Wives takes a dramatic and emotional turn, as Christine leaves Kody and changes the dynamic of this polygamist family forever.
“When TLC first introduced Sister Wives, the country was fascinated by a family with a very different lifestyle than most. The Browns challenged the notion of a traditional family mold and over a decade later, their family dynamics are still resonating with viewers because of their honesty, vulnerability and now, their relatability,” said Howard Lee, President of TLC Streaming and Network Originals.
Last year, Christine kicked Kody out of her home, which was one of the hardest things she has ever done. But now, formally putting an end to their marriage turns out to be even harder. And when she has to tell her sister wives and her children, nobody takes it well. She is determined to move to Utah to be with her older children but when Kody tries to stop her, Christine calls him out for favoring one wife and her children, over all the others. The stresses multiply as people begin to take sides.
And on top of it all, COVID is still a major issue for the Brown family, as first, Janelle and her children test positive and later, Kody, Robyn and their kids face their own struggles during the pandemic. When Christine’s daughter Mykelti gives birth, she invites some of the sister wives to be part of it, but not others and her choices are surprising. Then, without talking to Kody, Janelle buys a giant RV and moves onto their undeveloped Coyote Pass property as she is desperate to get construction started on their homes. This season will see the family divided like never before, leaving one thing for certain: the Browns will never be the same.

Kody if he is honest has 1 wife that he is involved with, he shows a blantent disregard for Christine and Janelle. He seems to particularly not care about Christine he hurt her on screen when he said that he was not attracted to her wtf!! Why would you do that to her? It seems he just used these women and continues to do so he gives them nothing emotionally but because they have low self esteem they stay . I hope they break away and find happiness without him awful man he should be ashamed of himself.

I totally agree, the very first time we met Robin you could tell he loved her more than the other and he treated her so much better. He kissed her and stayed the weekend with her and even picked out her wedding dress with her, he didn’t do anything like that with the other. I hope Mari walks off the show when this is done, there’s nothing keeping her there. You can see it in the show that he wants to be with Robin all the time. He treated the other two like they were nothing when it can to the divorce . Mary has a heart of gold and Cody is a piece of trash for the way he’s treated the other wives and I would say to his face is not a loving man I don’t know what these women seen him he ran from the law His kids don’t even know what to think and they been teased and head at school I have no respect for Cody Brown or for Robin I think they’re very and grateful people and no one should be happy for them my opinion as free-speech

Mary Brown thinks she did the right thing by divorcing Kody but, she fell for the bait. That is EXACTLY what Kody and Robyn wanted .Honestly he doesn’t fulfill the other wives emotionally, It’s all about Robyn and only her and she knows that Kody is really all her’s. I don’t know how these wives put up with Kody, What Christine said is so very true, that he doesn’t spend hardly any time with her, he’s always in a rush to go back to Robyn and Robyn is no way jealous of the the wives because she knows there’s really no competition. Robyn is fake, putting on this caring loving type person, saying she really cares for the other wives, but in realty, she has to do that, or she will be the outsider. But funny thing is I can’t believe that none of the other wives speak out and tell Kody how they really feel inside. Only Christine told Kody how she feels to some extent . It is sad that they have to live this way. If I were the other wives I would find a way to leave him. I can’t believe how gullible these women are in believing everything Kody tells them. They are either really blind and stupid or they just don’t want to speak up and say how they’re really feeling. It’s really sad. Just my views

I totally agree! Meri has looked so sad and down since she divirced Cody and doesn’t talk much at all. He’s all smiles and more loving with Robyn then the other 3. I think the 3 should all leave. Cody and Robyn got what they wanted and Christine was the only 1 truely grateful for what Meri did!!!
