Do you (or maybe your child) love dinosaurs?
Are you a huge fan of the Jurassic Park/World franchise?
Are you looking for something interesting and maybe even educational to do with your free time?
Have you ever wondered what dinosaur poop looks like?
If your answer to at least one of these questions is “yes,” then Jurassic World: The Exhibition is for you!
The exhibition starts with a simulated ferry ride to Isla Nubar and an entry through the gates made famous by Jurassic Park. From there, you will work your way through various rooms, including the Hammond Creation Lab with fun facts about the dinosaurs in the park and the process of creating the dinosaurs. You’ll also be treated to a demonstration of velociraptor training and Indomitous Rex feeding. Your journey through the Tyranosaurus Rex kingdom is protected by a high voltage fence – but watch out!
The simulated dinosaurs are top-notch, and there are several photo opportunities – some with baby dinosaurs! – throughout the experience. The Hammond Creation Lab is where most of the educational material is located, but there are uniformed guides staged throughout the experience that are happy to give you information about the dinos on display and to answer any questions you may have. There are also hands-on experiences, including digging for fossils!
Jurassic World: The Exhibition is located at Grandscape in The Colony and opens at 12:00pm daily. It took me about an hour to go through the exhibit, but your time may vary based on how long you spend in each area and how busy the exhibit is when you visit. Guests who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear masks, but when I visited, all of the employees and guides were masked.
Jurassic World: The Exhibition is a fun, five-star experience. Highly recommended summer fun for families!
