Netflix has announced that Ozark will have its fourth and final seasons. The main characters are portrayed by Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, and Julia Garner. Jason Bateman and Laura Linney as the Byrdes, their children Charlotte and Jonah are played by Sofia Hublitz and Skylar Gaertner, respectively, and Julia Garner as Ruth Langmorean advisor of the Byrde family. The story and struggles of the Byrde’s and the people involved in their criminal endeavors is nearing an end. The final season will have 14 episodes and a season split into two parts with seven episodes. The metamorphosis of the Byrdes from a suburban Chicago family into the heads of organized syndicate in the Ozarks, especially considering the final of season three, will be completed. Jason Bateman as Marty Byrde began as a financial advisor and got involved in a Mexican corporation when he started laundering money for them. He moved with his family to the Lake of the Ozarks to keep working for Navarro’s organization. Marty’s wife Wendy gets caught up in the multiple schemes. In season three she plays a major part in the casino businesses that the family is involved in.

Building casino empire is still main story for final season

Money, power and casinos are the themes of Ozark. Casinos in fact are one of the main locations for the story. The final season will show if the characters will manage to fulfill their desires and satisfy their thirst for power. Ozark’s depiction of the atmosphere of a casino is executed with exceptional precision. Marty Byrde walking around the casino, in the background the sparkle of the slot machines, the gamers sitting around the poker tables, and the sound effects of live roulette wheel and ball rolling add so much to the general atmosphere of the show. Especially, in contrast to some of the night scenes, where blue is the dominating color. The directors and the writers have been doing an amazing job of creating a realistic storyline which in turn enables the use of the setting of a casino. The Ozark set designers are probably real experts on the subject of the casino interior design. Every little detail is thought through and even the tiniest things are delivered with amazing precision. Chris Mundy will be back as a writer and an executive producer of the show. Mundy and Bateman will be the creative force of both parts of Ozark’s final season. Laura Linney will act as a co-executive producer of season 4.

Ozark season 4 the Ozark’ Renewed For Supersized Fourth & Final Season By Netflix Series: Wendy and Marty to take over Omar at top of Navarro’s organization

Every TV show has a fan base that always speculates, makes storyline suggestions, and is just so intrigued that they cannot stop thinking about what might happen to their favorite characters. To guess what might happen let us see where we left out the Byrdes at the end of the last season. By the end of season three, the Byrdes became close partners of the Navarro’s company, making a deal with Omar Navarro (Felix Solis), but they lost control over their financial operations. Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer), who was one of the main foes of the Byrdes was killed. While the TV show will only come back in 2021 there are some pretty good guesses of where the story might take the couple. The most popular option was for Byrdes to take over Navarro’s organization. As Marty became less involved in the money-laundering business, Mandy revealed her wicked nature, built her own casino, and did something that the characters do only when they are completely corrupt, got her own brother murdered. Wendy could totally become the boss of a Mexican business. But whatever might happen, the main thing is that season four will be out.
