Lucas (AG Longhurst) and Albert (James Osborne) are two elderly hitmen who are used to working separately.
They are brought together to tie up loose ends from a robbery from 20 years ago. But in essence, none of that matters. The beauty of this movie is the relationship between Lucas and Albert. They are chalk and cheese, and their dialogue is magic.
Actually, everything about this film is delightful – the soundtrack (I haven’t heard music this good in a long time), the black and white cinematography makes North Essex coast look incredibly stylish, the way Lucas and Albert spark off each other, the writing, the direction, and the comedic timing.
