Review by Lisa Payne
Five total strangers, Romero (Dominic Pace), Lucia (Gabriela Lopez), Marlene (Natassia Halabi), Amadu (Patrick Caberty), and Curtis (Kevin Glikmann) wake up in a dark room “tied up” with barbed wire.
Enter Emaramus (Nathanyael Grey), the mysterious stranger who tells them that they have to tell their killer origin stories and then vote for who will be set free and who dies.
The Saw-esque premise promised so much at the beginning. They each tell their tale of of woe, except Curtis who refuses. “Twists” and rule changes has them each voting tactically.
It proceeds along as I expected, and I was disappointed. It should have been better.
