The grounded sci-fi romantic dramedy Guacamole Yesterdays has set its official digital release date for June 24, 2025, after a North American theatrical run in select cities, including North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. The film will be available to rent or own across all major streaming platforms. Guacamole Yesterdays challenges audiences to confront the nature of their own memories, exploring themes of grief, healing, and the power to redefine one’s story in the face of trauma.
After a devastating separation, cartoonist Ames (Sophie Edwards) begins therapy with a specialist (Adetinpo Thomas) who employs an experimental technology that enables Ames to relive and reshape her memories of her husband, Franklin (Randy Havens). As Ames revisits moments from their first date to their final goodbye, the boundaries between memory and reality start to dissolve. To avoid losing herself completely, she must confront the truth she’s been desperately avoiding.
