Walker is a remake of the Chuck Norris series Walker: Texas Ranger and had an awesome first season. The series stars Jared Padalecki (Supernatural) as Cordell Walker, the grieving father of two kids, teenage daughter Stella (Violet Brinson) and son August (Kale Culley). He’s been away for a year on an undercover assisgnment for the Rangers and finds things different at home in Austin, TX. His parents Abeline (Molly Hagan) and Bonham (Mitch Pileggi) have been watching the kids, along with his brother William “Liam” (Keegan Allen), who is an ADA. Now he has to go to work reparing his relationship with his kids and family and coming to terms with the shocking death of his wife. He’s determined to find out who did it and when someone is arrested it seems to be finally over. But things are not as they appear and he soon learns shocking secrets about what really happened to her. Week after week the show delivered strong performances from all of the principal actors (great job to the casting people) and strong emotional stories. This was one of my favorite new shows of the year. Lots of teases in the final few episodes and a potential family tragedy loom over season two.

You can pick up Walker: Season One in stores now.
