It is that time again! Many of your favorite artists, comic guests, voice actors, authors, and celebrities are going to be gathering in Chicago’s McCormick Place March 22-24, 2019. You won’t want to miss this epic event where you will get the chance to hear insider stories, learn about upcoming projects, buy incredible art, find those rare comics you’ve always had your eye on. You can also see creative cosplay, meet celebrities and your favorite artists, plus much more at the historic 10th Edition of Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) presented by ReedPOP.

The star-studded guest lists this year will include a reunion of the main Clueless cast with Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd, Donald Faison, and Breckin Meyer. If coming of age comedies aren’t your thing, or maybe you just weren’t alive for the “As If” era, you can get your photo taken with Clark Gregg and Ming-Na Wen from ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Are you more into streaming? If so, you can meet Ralph Macchio and William Zabka from YouTube’s Cobra Kai.

If you prefer comics over movies and television don’t worry, some of the great creative forces of the comic world will be in attendance. You can meet Ken Lashley of X-Men and Black Panther fame; he is currently working on Bloodshot for Valient. Rob Liefeld, best known for co-creating Deadpool, will also be there. If you are more of a DC fan you can chat with Wonder Woman artist Jenny Frison, and Frank Cho who currently works on Harley Quinn. These great names barely make up the tip of the iceberg of this year’s C2E2 guest list.

If you happen to be in town the night before the convention, you have the opportunity to attend Animaniacs Live. Starring the original voice-cast of the iconic animated series Rob Paulsen (Yakko), Jess Harnell (Wakko), Tress MacNeille (Dot) and Maurice LaMarche (The Brain), accompanied by Emmy Award-winning composer Randy Rogel, who created many of the memorable songs. You will get to hear 20 of the greatest hits from the show as well of some behind- the- scenes stories. Friday and Saturday night after the Show Floor closes you have the chance to experience C2E2 After Dark where you can watch movies, sing karaoke, attend a 90’s themed party, and the Eighth Annual Charity Art Auction benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and much more.

Doors for C2E2 open every day at 10:00AM and close at 7:00PM Friday and Saturday and 5:00PM on Sunday. C2E2 After Dark events will run from 7pm until at least 11pm on Friday and Saturday. If you are still looking for badges, plenty are still available for each day individually. If you’re looking to attend all 3-days, grab your badges quick as they are almost sold out! The only thing you’ve missed out on is being part of the C2E2 VIP experience. There is a lot more information to see on their website, they can even help you save money on a hotel, and stay tuned to Red Carpet Crash for more convention coverage and exclusive interviews.
