Dimple Kapoor is a Hollywood actress who hasn’t really done anything big. She has a rival in Irene Singh, who always seems to get the roles they’re both up for. On this night at a party at Irene’s house, Dimple is a guest, and the two have an argument on the stairs, and Dimple pushes her, and Irene dies. It’s ruled as an accidental death, and Dimple soon gets a new acting job, one that Irene had. Irene’s parents hired a PI team to look into her death and bring in Saffi, who is good at her job. Saffi soon suspects Dimple killed Irene, and is on her trail, and it becomes a game of cat and mouse between the two. When another death takes place, once again Dimple is involved, and Saffi thinks she is responsible. The games between the two escalate, and they also have an attraction between the two of them. Just who will blink first is the highlight of this promising debut novel from author Raya. Fans will love the game of who can outwit whom, with these two fun characters.
