Jess Wilson, a history professor at Boston College, worries she will never get tenure after her book is rejected by a publisher. Needing to do something quick, then she finds a secret code in the papers of John Hancock and thinks this might be what she needs. She goes to Cal Morgan, who used to teach at Harvard, until something happened and asks for his help. He agrees to help her but is worried about what she has found. He was right to worry as bad things start to happen to them, and they have to go on the run from a secret society that has something to do with the code. The attraction between the two also heats up as they fight to stay alive. It is quite the adventure, and the chemistry between the two flies off the pages. This one is not to be missed.
