Pippa Ainsley is a witch, and she has a magic shop in town that has been slowly losing business due to the new magic shop that has moved into town. When her best friend, Xander, comes back to town with big news, he is opening a B&B with his friend Elle, and she is happy to hear about it. He also wants her to cleanse the inn before they open. After she removes any old spirits, she meets Elle, who, it turns out, is a hot young woman, and Elle is attracted to her, it’s been a while since she has felt like this for another girl. On top of that, Elle wants her to find ghosts to haunt the inn, and they can brand it as a haunted inn. Pippa is not sure about this idea but decides to help them out, finding fun ghosts for the inn, and soon the attraction between Pippa and Elle is too much, and they have hot sex and fall for each other. When Elle loses someone close to her, she pushes Pippa away, and it could be the end of something good before it even begins. A fun, witchy book about putting the hurts of the past behind you and staring over again. Watching the three main characters deal with their issues and possibly find love again is refreshing. The ghost hunting is a riot, and this is a good end of the summer rom-com.
