Asher Bennett has been with Clint for seven years now and they’re on their way to the airport in Boston to fly out and be contestants on the reality game show, The Epic Trek (think the Amazing Race). Clint gets cold feet and decides he can’t go and breaks up with Asher. He tries to find a new partner to go with him. Theo Fernandez is a pilot who has been on leave for three weeks because he has flown too much lately. At the TGI Fridays, Asher gets the last order of mozzarella sticks and Theo wants them. He ends up getting Theo to be his ‘boyfriend’ and go on the show with him for a chance to win a million dollars. They just have to pretend to fake date. As the days and weeks go by and they spend all their time together they fall for each other, have hot sex, open up about their lives and everything seems to be working out great for them until Clint shows up wanting Asher back and it could be the end for the two of them. This is a great gay rom-com, with two characters you really root for and watch fall in love. The reality show aspect enhances the story and this book is a winner.
