Book Review: ‘Where Secrets Live: A Novel’ By S.C. Richards

Liz McCallister is drunk when she gets an emergency call for her sister Meredeth, as does her cousin Fred, both don’t see the call until it’s too late. They rush to Merideth’s house and find her dead. And then Agent Tom shows up, he’s had dated Meredeth years ago and was close to the family. He is investigating the murder. But Liz decides she’s going to find out who killed Meredeth and why. She finds crypit things about her sister and they’re shocking. It seems her sister had a lot of secrets that she never revealed and it puts Liz in harms way on many fronts. But Liz is determined to find out what happened and will not be stopped, even when her life has been put in danger on a couple of occasions. It leads to a lot of shocking reveals and twists and turns that you don’t see coming. A solid thriller, that never lets up on the action and with all the twists, you will need a scorecard to keep track. Fans of this genre will not be disappointed.
