Book Review: ‘What Child Is This?: A Sherlock Holmes Christmas Novel’ By Bonnie MacBird

It’s Christmastime for Sherlock Holmes, and it doesn’t really matter for him. For Dr. Watson it is his time of year. He drags Holmes out to see the lit up city and they stop an attempted kidnapping of a four-year old boy. The mother is Lady Endicott, who comes to visit Holmes at Baker Street to thank him, and Holmes is determined to figure out why someone tried to take the boy. Holmes also has another case, looking for the adult son of the Marquis of Blandbur, who has been missing for months. Both cases take different turns than Holmes was expecting. If you’re a fan of Sherlock Holmes novels, this is another fun one to add to the collection.
