Ada Gallman has to head to Ireland for his sister’s wedding and she’s dreading it for a number of reasons. She doesn’t have the money, she’s going alone now that she’s on a break with her boyfriend and she’s not getting along with her sister. When she gets to London, she finds her connecting flight canceled, walks into a hotel and has no money for a room. At the bar she meets Jack, who offers to share his room, but she’s not looking for a quickie. They soon learn they’re going to the same wedding, Jack is the best man and a known playboy. They work together to get to the wedding by any means necessary and soon fall for each other and learn a lot of themselves along the way and have to figure out if they’re really meant for each other. This is a well-written, fun rom-com, that hits all the right notes. Falling these two on their adventure and falling in love is a treat. A good debut novel from author McBreen.
