Dylan Coughlin is a magazine writer, who has been given the job of writing quizzes, after her column on abortion, caused a lot of backlash on her. On a whim, she calls into a radio station, and wins a contest to travel around the world, there’s only one catch, the station will be a random person from her phone contacts, and that person will go with her. They pick Jack The Posh, a man she met at a bar a while ago, and ghosted him. He agrees to go, and he’s quiet and seems like he doesn’t really want to do this trip. Dylan is asked to write about her trip, and it might get her a column. As they travel the two get closer, and start to open up about their lives, and there’s a lot to untangle. The online column, and her pics start to create a buzz, and the two of them discover that they have a lot in common, start to plan their futures, and may even fall in love. This is a fun rom-com, that throws two people together, that you root for, and hope they overcome their issues. A perfect beach read.

You can pick up Wanderlust in stores on Tuesday, July 4th from Putnam.
