In the first book, Vera Wong solved a murder and now she wants another one to solve. When she runs into Miller, she learns her friend Tommy has vanished and Vera offers to look for him. She finds out he’s dead and it’s being reported as a suicide. She decides to investigate more, comes across his Grandfather, an influencer (he was one as well known as Xander) and a talent agent that represented him. Vera decides to make videos about her search and she goes viral and also someone is threatening her. Slowly the people that know Tommy/Xander start to confess truths to her and she has a lot of information and has to race to save one of these people. This is another great novel featuring Vera, who is a riot. Author Sutanto is great at writing these novels, with lots of LOL moments. This along with the auntie series (and please write more) needs to be read.
