At Waterfell University, Bennett Reiner is the star goalkeeper on the hockey team, while he deals with his OCD. He meets Paloma, who is the equipment manager for the team, and they fall for each other. He also has a poetry class with her, and she becomes his muse. They soon fall for each other, and things are good until they are not. Now, three years later, they have reconnected and gotten back together, but there are still issues between them. She has something that she is keeping from him and has to figure out if she can unbound herself totally to him and have the love she wants. The story contains some heavy topics that relate to the characters, but at its core it’s about the love between the two main characters. You root for them to be together, and it’s a heartwarming story to get invested in. A perfect spring novel.
