Haley Belanger does not like Christmas and is in Maine on a story for her online news site. Children have gone missing, and she’s on the hunt to find them. She has heard about a place in Maine called Yule, and she thinks the kids are there. When she finally finds the village, she is taken in by a gay couple who own a BNB, which is never used. Something is strange about this village, and Haley is warned not to go outside, which she does. It’s time for Santa Claus to show up, and she soon learns what the town is all about. Then we learn her shocking secret, why she is there, and what she plans to do, and it’s a doozy. She puts her plan in motion, finds her life in danger, and is saved by someone you never expected. This is a great, spooky novel, with lots ot twists and turns, and a great climax to the story. A perfect Halloween and Christmas horror novel.
