Book Review: ‘Tropic Of Stupid’ Is The Next Fun Serge Storms Novel From Author Tim Dorsey

There’s a lot of authors and books I look forward to every year. None more than every January when I know Tim Dorsey will have a new Serge Storm novel coming out. This is one of the best series of books out there and this in number 24 and it’s as good as the first one I read years ago. There may not be a better bromance team than Serge and his bestie Coleman. Tim Dorsey nails it every time with his pop culture and local south Florida refrences and his many LOL moments.

It’s time for another south Florida adventure with Serge and Coleman and this time Serge is also on a mission. He did one of the ancestry online sites and now wants to meet his various extended family members, which include legendady Boston Red Sox pitcher Spaceman Bill Lee. He also has a bad guy tied up in his trunk for a lot of the book and is on the hunt for a serial killer, that may be connected to his family, as are members of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. It’s another fun ride around South Florida, with many interesting characters and Serge using his smarts to outwit the bad guys.
