Book Review: ‘Total Empire: A Garrett Sinclair Novel’ By A.J. Tata

Gen. Garrett Sinclair’s Goddaughter Zoey is kidnapped in Africa, it happens to be near where his Task Force Dagger team springs into action to find her, going rogue in the process. Zoey’s father was killed on a mission, and it’s believe she was looking to avenge his death. They head into Morocco, where they learn the Chinese have nukes hidden, and if negotiations between the US and China don’t go well, they may be released. When one is released, and hits in Virginia, Sinclair must step up his game, find Zoey, and stop the Chinese. Just an average day for Garrett. This is an awesome follow-up to Chasing The Lion, the first novel in the series. Author Tata knows how to write an action-thriller, and fans of this type of novel will love this one. Highly suggest reading the first one as well (but not needed to) as this is written like a stand-alone. Can’t wait for the next one.
