China is up to its old tricks, high-level members of the government are missing and the President has a plan to finally invade and take back Taiwan. The new Chinese defense minister, Qin Haiyu, sees what is going on, and he alerts the CIA rep in China, and plans of taking his family to the United States, with the help of an elite team, led by John Clark, that is in China. Meanwhile, Katie Ryan, the President’s daughter, is leading her own team in Taiwan, and figures out what the Chinese are up to. President Ryan now has to try and stop WWIII, as China fires on a US destroyer, on its way to Taiwan. It leads to a tense, climatic, shocking ending. This is the 25th novel in the series and it’s another great one. There’s a lot of action, tense scenes, all the characters we love and a great new character named Conza, who hopefully will be in future books. Authors Andrews & Wilson have picked up where other great authors have left off and have a firm command of this series.
