Lukas Moore, 23, is an actor in New York City who has had to put his career on hold to look after his father, Richard, who was involved in a car accident and has a brain injury and needs to be watched. One year ago, Dr. Jason Grant vanished and is believed to be in the lake in upstate New York. His car and possessions were found near there. Today, the family is holding a memorial service, and Jason’s sister, Misty, an old flame of Lukas, has asked him to help solve what happened to him. They team up with Richard, who all along has thought there was something fishy about his death and begin investigating. It seems to lead to where he used to work, his family, and a mysterious man who is following Misty. The truth may lie in Richard’s head, if only he could remember what happened the night of his accident. This is an intense, page-turning crime fiction novel that will keep you reading along.
