Ex-Army Ranger Travis Devine has once again escaped his enemy, The Girl On The Train, and is back in the United States. He’s assigned to go to Seattle to assist a 12-year-old girl, Betsy Odom, whose parents died of an alleged drug overdose, and is in temporary custody of the FBI. Her uncle Danny Glass, who is up on RICO charges, by the government, and is filthy rich, wants custody of his niece. Travis knows Danny from when they served together overseas years ago. Travis soon learns not everything in this part of the country is what it seems and Betsy is being used as a pawn for a much bigger event being planned, the overthrow of the United States government, and Travis, along with the FBI, CIA and two friends of Betsy’s parents (and awesome supporting characters), are determined to shut them down before they strike, and Travis has a secret weapon, The Girl On The Train. This is the third book in this series, and my first time reading one, and I loved it. Nobody writes these action novels like author Baldacci, who has his own unique style of writing. Fans of his novels will enjoy this one.
