Brian and Lily own a pub in England, which had gotten good reviews, until seven years ago when Lily left, and never came back. Since then, he’s been on a downward spiral, and the pub has gone down hill. The only thing he has left of Lily is a postcard. He thinks back over the 15 years they were together, and when he sees a name on TripAdvisor, he thinks it’s Lily, and goes on a search to find her. It takes Brian on quite the adventure, as he tries to find her, and find out once and for all why she left. It’s another fun, well-written novel from author Roper, who takes us on quite an adventure with Brian, that will keep readers engaged.
