Book Review: ‘The Wilkes Insurrection: A Novel’ By Robbie Bach

In 2019 domestic terrorism rears its ugly head, as a plane is forced down Offutt Air Force Base and crashes on touchdown. If not for the Major Tamika Smith and her crew it could have been a lot worse. They saved as many as they could and she even carried one man on her shoulders to safety and became a viral star. But this isn’t the only thing to happen. Over the coming months and year more is carried out. One group is pulling over terrorist act after act on US soil and the FBI seems to be one step behind. They know who the person is but cannot find him. As Tamika’s star rises, she is asked to run for the Senate seat in the state of Washington, in the 2020 election. The mastermind behind the terrorist attacks is not taking kindly to this and is planning his biggest attackes yet. The only question is will he be stopped and found in time?

A well-written thriller that is all action and is a thrill-ride. You won’t want to put this down. With twists and turns you won’t see coming, it’s one great read.

You can pick up The Wilkes Insurrection in stores on Tuesday, October 12th.
