The next installment of the Peter Ash series is a thrilling ride across Iceland as Peter tries to find a missing child.
Peter Ash is still suffering from his PTSD and is at a loss right now in his life. When he’s approached by an old member of his squad to help find the grandson, Oscar, of a wealthy woman. He has been taken by his father and fled to Iceland. The boy’s father is charged with killing Oscar’s Mother. And of course things can never go easy for Peter. The minute he arrives in Iceland he’s met by the local police and someone from the U.S. Embassy that he’s not welcome here in Iceland and must leave within 48 hours. This being Peter he has no intention of leaving. He’s soon mugged and left for dead.
Peter fixes himself up and goes on his mission to find Oscar. And Peter being Peter he has to outrun the cops and the bad guys who do not want him here. But it’s not just people he has to fight. He also has to fight the brutal weather. It will take everything that Peter has to find Oscar and survive this ordeal alive.
I can’t say enough how much I love this Peter Ash series. Author Nick Petrie is on top of his game here. Each book tops that last one and that’s not an easy thing to do. If you want a serious thrill-ride that starts right from the beginning and never lets up, pick up this Peter Ash novel or any of the previous ones.
You can pick up The Wild One in stores on Tuesday, January 14th.
