In New York City, a crane at a construction site suddenly collapses and kills a man. A group claims responsibility, and demands that more low income housing be built, or every 24 hours another attack will take place, which the city will not do. Lincoln Rhyme, and his wife Det. Amelia Sachs are on the case, and discover a deadly poison used at the scene. Soon Rhyme figures out it’s his old nemesis Charles Hale, aka the watchmaker, is responsible, and is after Rhyme, it becomes a game of cat and mouse between the two of them. With twists and turns, and an ending you don’t see coming, this is another great Lincoln Rhyme novel. Fans of twisty thrillers, interesting characters, and of this series will be happy with novel number 16 in the series.

You can pick up The Watchmaker’s Hand in stores on Tuesday, November 28th from Putnam.
