Sherry is a librarian in upstate New York and has a unique gift of helping to solve murders. There’s been quite a few lately and the most recent hit close to home, her boyfriend Alan has been murdered. After this happens a weird thing takes place, her cat becomes possessed by a demon, who tells Sherry that she has to solve the murder and drive out a bad demon who’s in town. With the help of the new Priest in town and a handful of friends, they call themselves the Demon-Hunting Society, the hunt is on to find the murderer before more murders take place. Sherry finally decides to get all the suspects together, and it reveals the murderer in a well-written ending. This is a fun novel, with interesting characters and a story that engages you, and you want to keep reading. I hope there will be more novels with these characters.
