Miranda’s parents have been married for fifty years and it shows. We learn all about their lives, quirks and how they live their daily lives through Miranda, who visits with them in France. This book is one laugh after another, with stories about how her mom hoards things, an outdated freezer, and the animals they have at their house. We get flashback stories about her parent’s lives and Miranda is often the one who has to mediate between them. You can tell they have been married a long time and this book is a lot of fun to read. It’s a book that is hard to review without giving anything away. You just have to read it. A masterful job by author Camilla Barnes.
