Ricky Talon has a TV show and makes a list of the ten worst people in New York and then some of them end up dying. The first two seem like suicides until FBI agent Alex Bedford digs into them and doesn’t believe it. Then more on the list die and it’s a full-on investigation. Documentary filmmaker Jacob Felle arrives from London to visit his sister Elizabeth and her husband Floyd and finds things are really bad with the two of them. Soon the FBI is able to tie in Jacob, Elizabeth and Floyd, as well as some other major rich players, a Senator’s son and people in government. It races to a climatic showdown. A well-written and plotted debut novel, with lots of twists and turns that come fast and furious.
