Book Review: ‘The Sun And The Star: A Nico Di Angelo Novel’ By Rick Riordan And Mark Oshiro

Nico is the son of Hades, his boyfriend Will is the son of Apollo, they’re both demigods, and now they have a mission to take care of. Nico has been having dreams, and a prophecy has been told to him. He must go to Tartarus, in the underground, to rescue his friend Titan Bob, who’s being held hostage. Will insists on going with him, and at every turn there’s danger, and when they finally get to Bob, Nico finds an old foe holding his, and it could be the end for Nico and Will. Along the way, there are fun cameos from characters from other books, and my favorites the Troglodytes. This is another great novel in the world of Percy Jackson, and these characters. Filled with lots of LOL moments, and pop-culture, that only Rick can write, along with his co-writer for this one. I can’t wait for the Percy Jackson TV series (yes, there’s a series coming!). Fans will love this new one.
