Return to Sunrise Cove for the sixth novel in the series. Anna Moore is a private detective, and now she’s on a case involving her own late father. Her older sister Wendy, who is pregnant with triples and on bed rest, finds a rare coin among her father’s belongings. Anna takes it to be appraised and finds it’s worth $10,000 and part of a missing coins collection and a ruby necklace. Word gets out about the coin and Owen Harris shows up claiming it belongs to his family and wants the collection and ruby back. Anna soon learns her father was a thief in his younger days and was held at one point about this robbery, but let go. She teams up with Owen to get to the truth of what happened and where the coins are now, At first they don’t like each other and then fall for each other and once they solve this case, figure out what their future is. This is another great summer read from author Shalvis, who never disappoints. The supporting character of Wendy is a riot and provides a lot of comic relief. Fans of this series will enjoy this one.
