She is ready to go back when she hears about a murder of a man she had covered who was killed the same way his wife was.
This awakens something in Rain. Then there are other murders taking place where the victims are killed the same way they murdered people. Rain is soon on the case investigating if the murders are linked and looking over her past that very few know about. A mysterious person from her past is also writing chapters talking about his feelings for Rain and also their past.
