Gretsella is a witch who lives in the forest of Brigandale. She has a small coven, she makes products to sell, and lives a quiet life. One day, she comes home and finds a screaming baby boy on her doorstep. She decides to keep him and name him Bradley. She raises him to be a kind, loving man who will do anything for anyone, his own problem being he’s not too bright. Then forest animals start proclaiming he is the lost heir to the kingdom, the lost prince, and soon men arrive to bring him back to take over the throne. He soon takes the throne, and things in the kingdom are going fine, until they’re not. He calls for his mother, who arrives at the palace and takes charge of things. She soon figures out he’s not cut out to be king, and makes plans, with his blessings, to leave the throne and kingdom with the man he loves, and return to their small village to open his own hair cutting shop. This is a fun, at times lol short novel (224 pages). The lead characters and quirky supporting characters are top-notch, and this is a feel-good novel that will leave you with a smile on your face.
