The fourth novel in the Kate Hamilton series is another solid mystery with the awesome character of Kate Hamilton. Fans will be engaged in this book. Kate is in England planning her wedding to Detective Inspector Tom Mallory and is out for an evening for a hen (bachelotte) party. She comes across the dead body of Will Parker, a retired police detective. It turns out he was the first boyfriend of her friend Vivian and they hadn’t seen each other in a long time. There’s a secret history with Vivian, her friends and Will and now after all these years it’s come back. And as the bodies start to add up, Kate is worried the Vivian will be one of them. Kate decides she’s going to figure this out before it’s too late.
