The conclusion to the Lost Brides trilogy finds Sonya, Trey, Cleo and Owen still in the house, determined to fight off Hester and end the curse on the house once and for all. To do that, they must find all the portraits of the seven dead brides and find the rings in order to battle Hester. Sonya takes many visits into the mirror to the past and sees a lot of her family’s history. Hester is doing her best to drive them out of the house, including trying to kill them on a few occasions, but Sonya will leave while she has breath left in her body. They finally come up with a plan to face off once and for all Sonya will go back in time and grab all the rings from the brides and then have a final, deadly showdown with Hester. This is a strong finish to the series. The relationships between the four have are top-notch, and the love they have for each other. Nora Roberts excels in these trilogy series.
