Book Review: ‘The Santa Suit: A Novel’ By Mary Kay Andrews

Author Mary Kay Andrews usually writes one novel a year but felt inspired to write this Christmas themed novel, with a little help from some of her writer friends. It’s a delightful, uplifting story to put a smile on your face during the Christmas season, after the last couple of years we’ve lived through. Thank you Mary Kay for writing it. For Ivy Perkins it’s a new beginning to her life. She just got divorced and has moved to a small town outside of Atlanta and bought an old farmhouse. Along with her dog and some new chickens, she’s ready to start over. The farmhouse called The Four Roses was a tradition for many years until the owners died. Ivy has a lot of work to do getting the house in shape and she finds a santa suit with a note tucked inside. The old owner used to be Santa every year and would try and make the holiday better for all the kids. She tries to solve the mystery of the note and along the way meets some of the citizens of her new town and things start to look up for her and them. She may find love again, re-unite a family and re-live old traditions…all because of the Santa Suit.
